I, Kavi Luca, am a New York City based poet and writer who has founded this website to share my story. This website is a portfolio of sorts to display several of my various writing series.
You Call Her Mother, is a series about my relationship with my birthmother and all of the pain and joy that relationship has brought me.
The Closet, is a more romantic series encompassing writings filled to the brim with love and happiness. As a gay writer, some of these works reflect my personal journey in coming out as well as coming to terms with my sexuality.
Random, is not really a series just a smorgasbord of my writings that I have accumulated over the years.
This has been a long time coming, and I sincerely hope you enjoy my vulnerability, my rawness, my truth. Feel free to leave comments stating your constructive critiques or just your general thoughts on my writings and the series. As always feel free to reach out to me if you ever need a listening ear or someone to vent through that has gone through similar experiences. I can be contacted using the contact page on this website.
I love connecting with other artists so if you think we can learn from each other or if you want to reach out feel free to contact me using the links provided on this website.
Lastly, all writings are original and copyrighted.
Have fun reading the bits and pieces of my soul that I have translated into words.
